The University of Luxembourg aims to facilitate access to higher education for refugees and asylum seekers as well as promoting social inclusion and active participation in academic life.
The Inclusion Office provides specialist support on language tuition, admissions, finances as well as counselling support.

Online courses with KIRON
Kiron is a social start-up that wants to help refugees to access higher education free of charge. Kiron wants to provide a bridge for refugees or asylum seekers to begin or continue studying at university level.
Start your studies right away with online courses and finish your bachelor’s degree later offline at one of the partner universities.
On 25th October 2017, Kiron reached an agreement with the University of Luxembourg which will accept students into third year, after successfully completing the relevant courses in their first two years at Kiron.. Relevant course contents must be identified and matched beforehand.
At the moment Kiron is offering four study tracks:
- Business and economics
- Social sciences
- Computer scence
